Our Founders

Established in October 2024, the Institute of Flowers (IOF) marks a pivotal moment for Irish floristry.

Founded by florist Fionnuala McAuley, with over 20 years of industry experience, and business coach Sinead Kieran, the IOF was created to provide florists with the recognition, resources, and representation they’ve long lacked.

For too long, floristry was undervalued, with no collective voice or support.

The IOF now champions, protects, and elevates the profession in Ireland, advocating for its rightful status while fostering collaboration, growth, and inspiration for future talent.
