    Floral Box

Floralbox Packaging began in Galway in 2009, rooted in a simple idea shared by brother-and-sister team

Michael and Caroline Howley. Looking at a gorgeous, expensive bouquet presented in a cellophane aqua pack and flimsy bag, we knew there had to be a better way to present bouquets in water — something elegant, efficient, sturdy and reliable. What started as family conversations around the kitchen table soon grew into a mission to modernise the floral industry, and our first lined box vase was born.

Our signature lined box vases quickly became our hallmark. Florists told us they transformed how quickly

they could work and that they were receiving very positive feedback from their customers. The excitement around those early creations fuelled us, and we knew we were building something special.

As our community of florists grew, they began sharing ideas, challenges, and wish lists and we listened.

From those conversations came new products: hessian bags with rustic charm, flat-packed hatboxes, lined arrangement boxes, premium ribbons, and beautifully curated wrapping papers. Each product designed or chosen with care, always with the florist’s needs and creativity in mind.

Through every step of our journey, one belief has guided us: ‘exceptional flowers deserve exceptional presentation’. We take pride in designing packaging that not only elevates your work but also brings a touch of joy and luxury to the creative process.

Today, Floralbox Packaging remains a proud Irish, family-run business supplying quality packaging to florists in Ireland, the UK, Europe and the USA — still inspired by the florists who welcomed us into their world.
