Lamber studied in the Netherlands for seven years achieving in 1992 the title of Master Flower Arranger (or Dutch Master Florist).
This is very much the showpiece of the industry. It is the highest distinction that can be attained in the world of flower arrangement. The Foundation of Flower Arraignment Training (SOB) - in The Netherlands - launched its examinations in 1959 to give leading arrangers the opportunity to demonstrate their specialist skills and to be acknowledged as a member of an elite group of florists.
In 1994 Lamber arrived in Ireland "for one year" to set up a new business for a Dutch houseplant export company. Soon thereafter, Ireland & it's people won over his heart. Lamber lives with his partner Pat & their dogs in County Kilkenny, where they operate & run their flower business.
Lamber has a lifelong appreciation & love for nature, learning & everything that lives on the planet we share.
Lamber is a board member of the Institute of flowers since the launch and looks forward to strengthen the Irish flower industry for current and future generations.
