We knew the Wearable Floristry Competition at Bloom 2025 was going to be special… but we didn’t expect it to be this phenomenal.

Over five days, we watched some of Ireland’s most talented professional florists step onto our stand at Bloom wearing floral headpieces, cloaks, necklaces, collars, rings, and full-scale botanical fashion statements — and we were blown away by the imagination, craft, and joy they brought to the event.

We’re still catching our breath — and still waiting on one final judge’s decision — so while we haven’t announced a winner just yet, we couldn’t wait any longer to celebrate the incredible people who made this moment one of the highlights of the entire Bloom festival.

Talent, Creativity & a Whole Lot of Fun

The competition wasn’t just a hit with florists — it caught the attention of the media too. Our wearable designs were featured across national newspapers, broadcast on RTÉ, and even worn live by RTÉ Weather Presenters. Visitors stopped in their tracks. Cameras clicked. People smiled.

It was a proud, pinch-me moment for floristry in Ireland — and one we’ll never forget.

We can’t express enough how amazed we were by every florist who took part. From delicate details to bold, sculptural statements, each design told a story. And above all, it brought fun, flair, and floral magic to Bloom like never before.

Still Waiting on One Final Vote...

Our judging panel — Lamber de Bie, MEP Maria Walsh and Adele Roche — were blown away by the standard. With so much talent on show, it’s taken time to decide the winners… and we’re currently waiting on one final confirmation before we make the big announcement. (We promise it’s coming soon — and it will be worth the wait!)
