The Institute of Flowers Turns One – Join the Celebration! 🎉🌸
The IOF turns 1
It’s hard to believe that just one year ago the Institute of Flowers was launched, born from a vision to unite florists across Ireland, raise standards, and give our industry the professional body it deserves. Since then, we’ve grown into a strong, supportive community – and now, it’s time to celebrate!
On 2nd November 2025, we’re inviting florists, suppliers, and friends of the industry to gather at the stunning Killeen Castle for a very special evening marking our first birthday.
This isn’t just a party – it’s a night of learning, networking, and inspiration designed to send you home buzzing with ideas and connections.
What’s Happening on the Night?
We’ve lined up a stellar panel of speakers who’ll share practical insights to help your business thrive:
• 🌱 Local Enterprise Office – discover the grants and supports available to florists in Ireland.
• 💼 Yvonne Miland – breaking down everything you need to know about auto-enrolment for pensions.
• 📊 Johnny Tanner – why “minding your numbers” is essential for every florist.
• 📲 Lyn from @noodlehorse_media – the creative mind behind our Bloom socials, offering tips on how to make your brand shine on social media.
A Creative Twist 🌺
Of course, no IOF event would be complete without flowers. We’re asking everyone to bring a little floral token to mark the occasion – whether that’s a floral cupcake, a card, or a quirky design. Let’s fill the room with creativity, fun, and plenty of colour!
Why You Shouldn’t Miss This
This event is the perfect blend of business insight, networking, and celebration. It’s a chance to:
• Meet fellow florists and suppliers from across Ireland.
• Take away real, practical knowledge for your business.
• Celebrate how far we’ve come together in just one year.
• Enjoy cake, conversation, and a gorgeous castle setting!
